A day's work ...
The ceramic work is divided into several stages ... for modeling all that is required is reduced to a knife (my has had better days) and a tool of wood, none in particular (which is closest to hand), then it's roll up our sleeves and get to work.
Puzzle time... After the figures are thoroughly dried, it's the time of "cooking". As the stoneware temperature is high, it takes about eight hours until the temperature reaches 1260 degrees Celsius slowly ... and some more for the muffle to cool before we can move the figures.
During the "cooking time", I never have time to read... so I do more MURTIGA creatures or a thousand other things, illustration, film animation classes for kids, blah, blah, blah.
And I'm never alone ...
At the stage of painting, I already have under eye dark circles ... full attention is required and paint brushes with little hair to give color to small MURTIGA beings.
Sometimes I get very tired and furious with so many rodents and with the small figures, who insist on walking around here, but I just love it !
