Hello! Could you tell us a little about yourself?

Hello everyone! I'm Catarina from Portugal, passionate about kids, nature, colors, people, materials to create fashion accessories in my yarn workshop and so many things, I'm a woman of passions :) I like especially to use buttons covered by me, fabrics, some new some recycled, wool felt, Portuguese cork, genuine leather, silver plated findings and recycled paper in my creations of jewelry, fashion accessories and gift embellishments.

What made you choose this craft?

All my life I have loved to create and experiment with new materials. Fashion accessories and jewelry Have always been my favorites. From a very young age I have created many accessories for me, for friends and later for shops and crafters. When I see a new material I always see if I can make a jewelry piece, a happy fashion accessory or a simple button.:) So this craft makes me happy!

Why sell on Etsy?

Because it allows me to have customers worldwide and to meet wonderful people from all around the world! :) It also allows me to meet new artisans and buy great and unique pieces from other crafters. Selling on Etsy inspires me everyday!

What do you find most inspiring?

The most inspiring for me, at this time, is my little girl, but life always inspires me, colors, nature, a simple scent or image, a raw material, a happy moment, people...

You were involved in the "Mentor Month" program on Etsy. What was the most important thing that you took from it?

I think the most important thing was to meet other crafters and their own experience, to have their opinion and help to improve our customers experience with us.

What do you love to hear from your customers?

I love when my customers share their joy with me in emails, it always brings a smile to my face. Those are the things that keep me doing what I do, it's a very satisfying experience and one I wouldn't trade for anything. :)
