Roaming through... natural pools in Azores

This Summer I traveled around the beautiful and unforgettable Azores Islands and, in particular, São Jorge, Pico, Faial and São Miguel. What really surprised me the most are the natural pools you can find there. I had never experienced to swim in an ocean pool before! You can have a Mediterranean kind-of-atmosphere and suddenly the strong currents and the waves!  What I really liked also is the fact that, many times, they are in remote places that you have to discover!

From the more natural and wilder pools to the more “artificial” ones, I think the following images will speak for themselves! I hope you will enjoy it!
